busy busy busy

these last few weeks have been hectic to say the least! my boss was out for over a month with back problems and surgery which left me with a big mound of STUFF on my desk. i actually prefer things to be too busy at work as it makes the day go by much faster and keeps me busy. reminds me of my days at bury when things were always super busy.

we went to visit my brother and bailey the last weekend in july - it was a nice relaxing weekend for the girls, but rob was helping jason with a project all weekend so maybe not so relaxing for them. then the following weekend was off to iowa for the family reunion. it was great to see everyone and spend some quality time being a family, something we haven't done in WAY too long. hopefully we can keep it up! next year the reunion is in cedar rapids, so not quite as far of a drive :) rob drove most of the way, he's really great at doing the all night drives...me i'm good at sleeping through the all night drives. rob said i woke up to say "don't get a ticket, the music is too loud, you just ran a stop sign, and are we there yet?" haha. i bet he's glad i slept through the trip!

the parents, jason, bailey and seth came this past weekend for a little relaxing. well jason was installing a dishwasher for a friend so he and dad were working on that all day saturday, but it was again relaxing for the girls! we did a little shopping and then played some cards - of course the boys won, but the girls did manage to pull out a small victory on sunday.

this weekend we plan to stay home and enjoy the weekend doing NOTHING - i'm sure something fun will come up to keep us busy :) i've got a ton of pictures to post, so when i remember to grab the cable to upload them i'll do that. until then, loves.
